Description

The Frasers are thought to be of Norman origin from Anjou in France arriving in Scotland in the twelfth century. The name may have originated as de Friselle and then changed to Fraisier. Fraise is the French word for strawberries and the strawberry plants are called fraisiers. The arms of Clan Fraser include strawberry flowers. Their chief Simon Fraser owned lands at Keith in East Lothian. The original clan male line died out in the thirteenth century but two other branches of the clan survived to the present day.

Highland Clan Flags are intended for indoor or outdoor use. The flags are made from 70 denier high tenacity nylon, chosen for durability and ability to meet our exacting color standards. A rigourous process ensures colours are locked in for long use, and all edges are double stitched for added strength.

Our clan flags are packaged in robust, clear plastic sleeves that both display and protect the contents – perfect for gifts!

Each package includes a fine printed scroll offering an outline of your Clan’s history.
